ਜੀਅਹੁ ਮੈਲੇ ਬਾਹਰਹੁ ਨਿਰਮਲ ॥
ਬਾਹਰਹੁ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜੀਅਹੁ ਤ ਮੈਲੇ ਤਿਨੀ ਜੂਐ ਹਾਰਿਆ ॥
ਏਹ ਤਿਸਨਾ ਵਡਾ ਰੋਗੁ ਲਗਾ ਮਰਣੁ ਮਨਹੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ॥
Those, at heart bad: polluted within, but outwardly pure – their appear is good,Those outwardly pure, but polluted at heart, have lost their lives in a gamble(Uselessly).They have the affliction (Disease) of the great thirst (Greed) for the worldly things, and they do not remember death. (That on death, all these things will be left here).
